This roof basket provides substantial exterior space for carrying extra cargo and gear on a vehicle roof. Attaching the roof carrier to a vehicle is quick and easy with a universal style (4) U-bolt mounting system. The clamps work with square crossbars up to 3.25"W x 1.375"H, or round crossbars up to 1.375" diameter. Overall, the roof basket measures 48.5"L x 38.25"W x 5.5"H with an inside space of 42.25"L x 36.25"W x 4.75"H for cargo storage. Designed to effectively carry a maximum 150 lbs. distributed load.
