Hand blown glass mermaid figurine on amethyst is a stunning and imaginative collectible crystal sculpture. Artist is Kevin Prochaska, Disneyland glass blower for 10 years. Relaxing among the rocky shoals represented by genuine amethyst crystals is this charming hand crafted mermaid. I make this sculpture entirely by hand without the use of molds or machines. It is made from borosilicate crystal, trimmed with 24k gold and I personally sign the piece upon its completion. The brilliant rainbow of colors, including violet, pink, purple and blue, is created when I apply pure gold to the glass while it is still molten. Sculpture is approximately 3.5 inches long and 3 inches tall. Carefully chosen amethyst crystals complement each unique creation. Included with your purchase is an attractive information card trimmed in gold foil, making this a lovely gift.
