Fatto a mano performance is a combination of two successful series and marries refined Craftsmanship (for the stem and the base) and the precision of a machine (for the bowl). The champagne glass allows the wide range of champagne to unfold. The larger rim diameter enables the aromas of champagne to be released, in a way which is not achieved when using a narrow flute. The glass also includes a 'sparkling point' To aid the formation of the Champagne bubbles. The reduced black in the base plate forms a deliberate contrast to the transparent bowl with a subtle optical effect. This light optic impact NOT only adds a pleasing visual aspect to the bowl, but also increases the inner surface area. Riedel Fatto a mano performance is produced in the factory in kufstein. The glasses in this series are made of crystal glass and are dishwasher-safe. The variations are: black Stem and transparent base, or transparent stem and Black Base.
