Door Glass Installation: A Simple Process Remove Old Glass Use a screwdriver to remove the interior frame and release the glass from the door. Pop the old glass out to make way for the new insert. Insert New Glass Place the glass insert into the new opening in your door. Align up the edges and snap the frame together. Secure Glass in Place Screw the frame together to secure the glass in place and seal up the edges. Put your door back on it's hinges.
