Hand blown glass pelican figurine on amethyst is a stunning collectible crystal sculpture and a wonderful gift. Kevin Prochaska, Disneyland glass blower for 10 years is the artist. Relaxing among the rocky shoals that are represented by genuine amethyst crystals, this pelican sits on the taller of two boat ties waiting for an unsuspecting meal. I make this sculpture entirely by hand without the use of molds or machines. It is made from borosilicate crystal, trimmed with 24k gold and I personally sign the piece upon its completion. The brilliant rainbow of colors, including violet, pink, purple and blue, is created when I apply pure gold to the glass while it is still molten. Sculpture is approximately 5.5 inches tall and 3 inches wide. Carefully chosen amethyst crystals complement each unique creation. Included with your purchase is a lovely information card trimmed in gold foil.
