Product Description This Megahome Heavy Duty version comes with a boil chamber and upper cover (boil chamber dome) that are made of 316 stainless steel, and the condensing coils are high grade 304 Stainless Steel. The 316 Stainless steel is not necessary for most customers but it does offer extra protection for customers who have corrosive source water or corrosive chemicals in their source of water. If you have had distillers in the past that failed because the boil chamber corroded or developed pitting, this unit is built to last longer and resist corrosion better than standard 304 (also called 18/8) grade stainless steel. We know that if you choose to buy this heavy duty model you will pleased by the attention to detail and quality that Megahome puts into every distiller. The outer shell of the body is a brushed stainless steel, making it very durable and attractive. It comes with a glass collection bottle with a removable lid for convenience. Distilling your own water can't get any easier, simply fill the boil chamber with water to the fill line, and press the start/reset button and walk away. At the end of the cycle, the distiller will turn off automatically. The distiller comes with automatic shut-off and the unit has a temperature controlled switch to protect against overheating even if you forget to put water in.
